Learn to still your mind, calm your internal chatter and connect to inner peace. Meditation is about being present and aware, calming the mind, bringing yourself to a state of easeful rest and connecting with your Self within, your source of true peace and contentment.

If you are new to meditation, you will learn about:

  • How to start and maintain your meditation practice
  • Seating, posture and other preparation
  • Use of the breath and other techniques to focus your awareness in meditation
  • Ways to manage and calm the mind

For those who already meditate, or need a top-up, you can get

  • A reminder of basic approaches
  • A series of meditation techniques to help you deepen and consolidate
  • Some practical skills that help you to connect with your underlying essence ofBeing
  • Ways to keep your mediation practice going despite interruptions and challenges

The approach is based on the yogic meditation tradition but has an everyday contemporary relevance for people of all persuasions and none. Periods of meditation practice will be accompanied by teaching about different techniques to support your meditation. You will take away ideas and techniques for your own regular meditation.

“Joy is within. Meditate”. (Swami Muktananda)
